Frequently asked questions.

General

What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve Bruce County and all surrounding areas (Huron, Grey and parts of Wellington County). If you’re not sure whether we cover your location, give us a call and we’ll be happy to confirm.

Are you insured?

Yes! Our team is fully insured with a $5M liability and covered with WSIB. Also, all employees are trained to meet all safety standards. You can have peace of mind knowing your home is in professional hands.

Do you offer free estimates?

Absolutely. We provide free, no-obligation estimates for all our services. We’ll assess your needs, explain your options, and provide an honest, transparent estimate.

Do you offer warranties on your work?

Yes. We provide both manufacturer warranties on materials and a 10-year workmanship warranty for our installations.

Roofing

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most residential roof replacements are completed within one to two days, depending on the size and complexity of the project, as well as weather conditions.

What types of roofing materials do you install?

We work with high-quality asphalt shingles. Our preferred shingle is CRC Regency. They are a premium laminated architectural asphalt shingle and designed for performance in Canadian climates. They offer a strong wind performance of 210 km/h which is especially important in our area.

How can I tell if my roof needs to be replaced or just repaired?

Common signs include missing shingles, leaks, sagging areas, or visible damage. Our experts can inspect your roof and recommend the best solution.

Siding

What types of siding do you install?

We install vinyl and other premium siding materials designed for durability and curb appeal.

How often should siding be replaced?

Quality siding can last 20–40 years, depending on the material and maintenance. If you notice cracks, warping, or fading, it might be time to consider a replacement.

Soffit & Fascia

What does soffit and fascia do?

Soffit provides ventilation to your attic and prevents moisture buildup, while fascia supports your gutters and creates a clean roofline finish. Both play an important role in protecting your home’s structure.

How do I know if my soffit or fascia need replacement?

Look for:

  • Peeling paint
  • Rotten wood
  • Sagging, dented, or warped panels
  • Loose or missing sections
  • Corrosion or pitting on the aluminum surface

If you spot any of these issues, our team can inspect your system and let you know whether a repair or full replacement is the best option.

Eavestroughs

How often should I clean my eavestroughs?

It’s best to clean them at least twice a year. Typically in the spring and fall to prevent clogs, leaks, and water damage.

How do I know if my eavestroughs need repair or replacement?

  Look for:

  • Persistent leaks, even after repairs
  • Sagging or pulling away from the fascia
  • Corrosion, rust stains, or holes
  • Separated seams or joints that no longer align
  • Water pooling around your foundation after rainfall

Do you install leaf guards or gutter protection systems?

Yes! We offer gutter guard solutions to minimize maintenance and keep your eavestroughs clear year-round.
